Strolla, perfectly located nearby Sea Point’s lively promenade is the latest addition to Cape Town’s trendy culinary scene. Whether you want to drop in for coffee or a meal, catch up on work or host meetings while your children take advantage of the kid’s facilities, Strolla has it all.
Besides a scrumptious menu and lively atmosphere, Strolla brings a unique twist to restaurant decor. Comfortable and casual, with a sophisticated tone, the distinctive interiors attract diverse crowds throughout the day. Owner and restaurateur Brendon Crew’s vision was to create a relaxed yet sophisticated environment where family, friends and business people alike will feel at home.
The brainchild behind the creative interiors is designer Nicola Orpen from Bone Interior Design, well-known for designs that are inspiring, playful and progressive. Strolla is no exception with decor comprised of pinks and jade that compliments the skyline, as seen from the sundeck, with cocktail in hand.“We fell in love with the colours based on the fact that it represents what we are trying to achieve within the space and the style of food offering, in which the elements of simplicity are juxtaposed by its sophistication,” says owner Brendon Crew.
Strolla offers five different sections, each with an individual feel. The indoor section is suitable for both the business person (offering plug points and free Wi-Fi) and families who wish to indulge in a meal, while children can enjoy the game room facilities. The games room is positioned adjacent to the restaurant and is designed with glass panels for diners to keep an eye on their kids, between 7am-7pm.
Outside is a self-service coffee cafe, ideal for drinks on-the-go and the bar area and sun deck are perfect for sundowners with friends.
