The Venue @ Hemingways is set to stage “Firmament!” by Chris Chameleon, one of South Africa’s most prolific award-winning artists and masterful performers, on Friday, 30 April 2016.

Chris Chameleon’s new solo album release, “Firmament” is celebrated in a theatrical production featuring 12 brand new songs. Chameleon takes the audience on a journey and narrates the stories behind the songs, this eponymous show is seasoned with his subtle humour, physical comedy and truly honest renditions on every track. This intimate musical illustration is the stuff of dreams and is set to captivate audiences from the get go.

Endlessly creative and true to his name, Chameleon changes colour often with his many different shades of artistry and inspiration. He is not just the frontman and bassist for Boo! an eclectic band with a worldwide cult following, Chameleon is known in South Africa and abroad as a musical phenomenon as well as a talented actor and popular television personality.Chameleon’s reputation for mesmerizing audiences with his exceptional talent has won him rave reviews and numerous awards over the past 6 years. Awards include two South African Music Awards (SAMAs) and a Medal of Honour from the South African Academy of Science and Arts.

With his own unique style and irresistible stage personality, Chris Chameleon has become a household name in South Africa, a whole new litany has been specifically created for this production and promises to be a gem of a show.
