Africa’s largest online fashion store, Zando.co.za has teamed up with the 10s Series to bring the award-winning event to three South African cities – Tshwane, Cape Town and Durban.
The 10s Series – also known as the Social Olympics – sees a variety of teams from the toughest of professionals to the most festive of amateurs take part in a variety of sports, providing loads of fun for participants and spectators.
The Zando Cape Town 10s, now in its 10th year, has gained the reputation of being one of the must attend events on the city’s calendar. In fact, the sports and lifestyle event was voted Discovery Sport Industry Award for Best Live Experience in 2016.
And the Zando Tshwane 10s is hot on its heels. The 2017 event in the capital city is set to be the biggest yet, with more than 150 teams taking part in seven different sports.
Plans are already well underway for the Zando Durban 10s in 2018.
Says Zando managing director, Grant Brown, “We are extremely excited and proud to be the title sponsor of the Zando 10s Series.”
The company has signed a three-year title sponsorship for the 10s Series, including the Tshwane 10s.“The growth of the 10s over the last few years into Africa’s premier sports and lifestyle event reflects our ambitions as a business and the association with an event that puts the consumer first is at the core of Zando’s values,” Brown adds.
The much anticipated Zando Tshwane 10s is back for the second time, taking place at the Harlequins Rugby Club in Pretoria on 25 and 26 August – and it’s expected to be bigger and better.
The Zando Tshwane 10s is an epic event that will see 150 teams contest seven sports codes over the two days: rugby, netball, beach volleyball, touch rugby, five-a-side soccer, lawn bowls and dodgeball.
But expect just as much fun off the field, with 15 top bands providing the music and a massive beer tent providing refreshments.
The after-party fun, brought to you by Weiveld, features the likes of Bok van Blerk, Francois van Coke, Mojozi, Vin Deysel and the Tuks Battle of the Bands! It’s a weekend you won’t want to miss.
