Runner up to the 2003 Sprite Comedy Festival Sandton, one of South Africa loved comedian and MC for a reason, Capetonians will get to experience this comedy legend in person on the 29th -30th June at the Mesopotamia restaurant Greenmarket Square Cape Town . In doing so McKay allows the audience to experience everything they thought they knew about Race, Culture and Polony .
McKay who performed on the MSC Sinfonia earlier this year had the passengers in stitches with his latest offering. He says he looks forward to dazzling the Cape Town audience. It’s a very intimate show that deals with lots of issues in our country. I talk about my first journey on a Cruise liner , Patty De Lille saga and of course the Water crisis . Cape Town audience is always a thrill to entertain on stage . I love this City vibe and Culture.
McKay, will have two comedians as opening acts before the show starts they include Reagan Allen & Lunga Tshuka ( 29th June only ) and Keegan Cerff & Khanyiso Kenqa ( 30th June only )

Wayne McKay Bio
Wayne McKay has a long history in the entertainment industry as a Stand-up Comedian, Actor, Radio, Television Voiceover artist and popular Master of Ceremonies. He is best known for his ‘Wheelies’ video clip on YouTube that has been circulating the globe. He freelances around the country, one of his best-known shows being one-man show ‘Roots’. He was voted first runner-up at the 2003 Soul Sprite Comedy Festival in Sandton. He also appeared in the very successful stand-up show ‘Three Dicks and a Chick’ at the Grahamstown Festival during the same year. Wayne also starred in the production “Funny Kaap” that played to sold out audience at the 2012 KKNK festival.
