The City of Cape Town’s Traffic Service would like to advise the public that a number of Driving Licence Testing Centres (DLTCs) will be closed tomorrow, Saturday 11 August 2018, while others will offer limited services.
This disruption in services is due to an ongoing dispute about weekend work.
All DLTCs are operating as per normal on weekdays.
The facilities that will be closed tomorrow are: Brackenfell, Durbanville, Goodwood, Bellrail, Kuils River, Gordon’s Bay and New Ottery.
Gallows Hill, Eastridge, Hillstart, Joe Gqabi and Fish Hoek DLTCs will operate as normal, while the remaining DLTCs will offer limited services to the public.
We encourage the public to contact their local DLTC telephonically before visiting the centre to ensure that they are open and offering the service required.
The individual centres will contact learner and driving licence applicants whose appointments are affected by this service disruption and will advise on alternative dates.
The City apologises for any inconvenience and we hope to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
