Singer Titi Luzipo is going back to her hometown to launch her self-titled album on the 13th July at The Athenauem, Port Elizabeth. Luzipo needs no introduction in the music scene as she not only comes from a musical family but has collaborated and shared stages with some of the most respected artists in Southern Africa.
Her album is a labor of love which saw her nurture from the roots, perfecting every melody and sharing her gifts with fellow collaborators the likes of Luyanda Madope and Ringo Madlingozi among others. The first single off the album is Being Woman, released in March was very well received and is still played in various stations across the country. The song made Apple Music’s top 50 its first week of release.
The launch promises to be one to remember with guest performances from McCoy Mrubata, Ringo Madlingozi, Titi’s brother Barlo Luzipo who worked on the album and her beautiful mother. Tickets for the launch are available at Ticket Pro for R150 single and R250.
“I am super thrilled to come back home and share this gift that they have nurtured, loved and celebrated since I was a child. It’s a very important milestone in my career and I want to share it with my people, at home. I want to thank all the sponsors that have come on board to celebrate my music with me!” commented Luzipo.
Titi Luzipo’s debut album will be available at all retail stores and all digital platforms on the 13th July.
