Lottering On Lockdown…
LOTTERING ON LOCKDOWN, a new production featuring stand-up comedian Marc Lottering’s favourite stories taken from his 2 hugely successful online shows, MY FELLOW SOUTH AFRICANS and
ANOTHER ONE, previews at the Baxter Theatre from 18 November 2020 and runs until 9 January 2021.
In his unique zany style, Lottering tells us how he navigated his way through lockdown, covering several topics, ranging from ‘Jerusalema’ to waiters armed with temperature guns, home-schooling and zoom meetings.
Marc is one of South Africa’s top comedians and this year received the prestigious Naledi Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Musical (Aunty Merle).
‘’This is going to be a brand new experience for me and for the socially distanced audience. People will be laughing with masks on – quite fabulous for those with dentures!”, says Lottering.
