The ultimate Geordie party is about to begin, as the world’s most famous Geordies are reunited with some of our favorite ex-housemates, ready to celebrate 5 years of the epic show in a six-part special, launching 17th May at 21:15pm on MTV.
Emotions will be high as original housemates Sophie, Jay and James make a surprise return to their old stomping ground. We will also see Kyle, Dan and Ricci join the crew, which we are sure will ruffle some feathers.

Now living down-under will Ricci be able to keep up with the squad? After one of the most emotional exits seen in the house, will the family welcome James with open arms, including Holly? And with that in mind will Kyle and Holly’s on/off relationship blossom once more in the house? But most importantly will Dan finally be able to pull! Continue reading
Let’s Play, along with associate partner, Builders Warehouse Bloemfontein, recently completed a donation of a variety of sports equipment to Lebone Village as part of their initiative – Play it Forward. “We all have unused sports equipment stashed in cupboards and garages; items that have been neglected or were replaced by newer versions. Why not rather donate the equipment to kids who can’t afford to buy new ones? This campaign has had astounding results, collecting approximately R500 000 worth of sporting equipment which has helped change the lives of thousands of our children,” says Let’s Play spokesperson, Vaughn Bishop. Johannesburg, 13 May 2016: After Joey Rasdien thrashed Loyiso Gola in last night’s episode of Lip Sync Battle Africa, MTV (DStv channel 130) has revealed that Tumisho Masha and Uti Nwachukwu are the next stars to face off in the hilarious reality contest.
Rasdien won TV glory in last night’s tongue-in-cheek battle after thrilling the studio audience with a super smooth, velvet-clad version of Billy Paul’s 1970’s soul classic “Me & Mrs Jones”. Despite channelling Brandy in chic braid wig and a super-sexy rendition of “Sitting Up in My Room”, Loyiso Gola could make no headway against his fellow comedian, and was forced to go home empty handed.

“A deadline is negative inspiration. Still, it’s better than no inspiration at all,” as veteran writer Rita Mae Brown once said. It’s an apt observation considering that, for those working in creative fields, sometimes a deadline can be the best motivating factor to complete a project and make those all-important submissions.
In the spirit of motivation, Loeries®, the benchmark for brand communication across Africa and the Middle East, has extended the deadline for entries into its annual awards to 31 May 2016. The awards will take place during Loeries® Creative WeekTM Durban, South Africa, in August.
All brands, marketers, design and advertising agencies, public relations firms, film and video producers, architectural consultancies, music video producers and creative directors across the spectrum of brand communications are invited to submit their most creative and inspiring work for the period 1 June 2015 – 31 May 2016.
