The 2016 ““Last Ride” car show, in partnership with Supersonic Music & Audio, will feature various car competitions, such as the ‘DB Drag World Record Sound Competition’ and visitors will also get the chance to show-off what makes their machine the finest of them all.

“As this is the last instalment of the annual car show, it is going to be the best ever, we have everything on offer for any type of motor fanatic, whether you are into the loudest and technology-advanced sound systems, or keeping up with latest world trends in car interiors”, says Veneshrie Chetty, Marketing Manager at Blackrock Casino.New features at this year’s show include ‘Spin Khana’, an obstacle course where spinners get to show off their expert skills on the skid pan (drifting area). ‘Drift Trikes’ is a new craze in the car show world, where spectators get a chance to ride motor powered tricycles and a new 4×4 tug of war will pit the toughest bakkies against one another.

Says Chetty, the “Last Ride” car show will also feature all of the usual motoring offerings from past shows, such as the ‘Show and Shine’ competition and the sound competition.

This is not just a car show, but a day filled with fun for the whole family. Kids will have their own go-karting section and kid’s zone and can look forward to a host of entertainment offerings, car, novelty and food and beverages stalls on the day.”
