Boland and Valke to meet in final game at LSEN Week

Boland and the Valke will meet in the grand finale of the LSEN Week at Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool (Affies) in Pretoria on Thursday after strong performances in the first two rounds of the tournament.

The clash will mark Boland’s third consecutive appearance in the final match of the LSEN Week.

Last season they defeated Western Cape neighbours, Western Province, 25-12 in Worcester, while they defeated SWD 45-3 in Potchefstroom in the 2014 edition of the tournament.

Boland and the Valke were among three teams that remained unbeaten after the second round of matches on Tuesday. The Free State was the third unbeaten team.The Bloemfontein side will meet Western Province in the final match of their campaign.

Hosts, the Blue Bulls, meanwhile, will host the Griffons in the opening match of the day on Thursday, while the Blue Bulls Extraordinary Education side will go up against the Golden Lions in their last matches of the tournament.

The action will kick off at 09h00 on Thursday, with the final match starting at 15h00.

All the teams had Wednesday off to rest and recover for the final day’s action.
