Buoyed by the favourable response from guests at Jackson Hall, GrandWest in July 2016, Cape Town jazz performer and producer of the GrandWest Open Mic Jazz Singing Competition, Bev Scott-Brown, is back to perform in August 2016.

Scott-Brown and her band will perform live at Jackson Hall every Friday and Saturday night in August 2016. Scott-Brown is known on the Cape Town music scene as a vocalist for the Jonny Cooper Orchestra, Blaze band, as well as her own band, Spotlight. She produces the annual GrandWest Open Mic Jazz Singing Competition which kicks off in August 2016. Hopefuls can audition for the jazz singing competition at Jackson Hall on Wednesdays nights, from 17 August 2016 until 7 September 2016. Auditions will take place from 20h00 and there is no cost to enter the competition.
