Actor and presenter – Lawrence Maleka joins Boity Thulo to host Club 808 on Friday, 9 September at 6PM. Club 808 is e.tv‘s premier music and youth lifestyle show which features the best music and happenings in the world of entertainment.
A massive music fan, Lawrence is ecstatic about joining the Club 808 family. “I’m very excited about joining thee.tv and Club 808 teams. One of my first gigs in the industry was hosting a music show where Boity was a frequent guest, so we go way back,” says Maleka. “Viewers can expect me to do what I always strive to do; the best I can. I hope to use my knowledge of the local music industry to give Club 808 fans the inside track”.

Lawrence Maleka is an actor and television presenter who is a familiar face on the South African small screen. The 27 year-old has acted in many drama series and hosted several shows, most recently the Lotto Powerball Draw on e.tv. Club 808 is a new step in Lawrence’s career, where he gets to discuss and interact with one of his major passions: music.
