The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival presented by Nedbank, is hosting a phenomanal, fun-filled DStv Kids’ Zone and Teen Zone, that will keep kids super-busy while parents enjoy the incredible musical line-up and relish the scrumptious, feast of delectable food and restaurants.
If you have always wanted to transform into an alien and fight all the baddies, then come play with Cartoon Network as they launch the brand new revamped Ben10 series with new design and intrigue, at the DStv Delicious Festival for a unique intergalactic experience that promises to be out-of-this-WORLD! Kids will be able to meet one of Ben10’s coolest aliens, Fourarms, take the Ultimate Ben 10 Fan Quiz to win awesome prizes, activate the power of the Omnitrix, dress up like their hero and head into an exclusive premier of the brand-new action-packed Ben10 series, with a sneak preview of the first two episodes! They will have loads of fun with an alien goo search, arts and crafts activities and the ultimate fan Ben 10 quiz.Then there’s show time! Bounce SA bring their daring BMX riders, audacious wakeboarders and Cheerstrike dancers to the mix – plus exciting giveaways! The memorable Cheerstrike dancers are guaranteed to get your kids on their feet and dancing on stage.. But be forewarned – they’ll be trying these outrageous dance moves in your lounges back home!
For the littlelis, Danone NutriFarm is putting on a show second to none where your kids will get to dance and sing with Farmer Fred and Benolo Berry. They get to play on the soft play imagination station and boost the environment by planting seeds and building their imaginations in the creation station. Thethe Hungry Human Hippo game will guarantee a day filled with fun and laughter. Unforgettable!
The Oros Man will join the Urban street dancing crew who will perform their mind-blowing song-and-dance routine. Kids can play to their hearts content on the giant inflatables which include soccer andand a paddle pond. And for the more daring there’s a 12m climbing wall.
For the creative kids and wanabe pastry chefs, there will be the ‘Oh Crumbs’ cupcake decorating bar. All kids can have their face painted while they gasp at the sight of stilt walkers with magic and balloon sculpting.
Night time is movie time with a thrilling Ben 10 preview on the big screen. With so many activities to chose from they will be spoilt for choice.
It goes without saying at a food extravaganza that your kids will not go hungry! Food will be in plentiful supply, from our Tiger Brands food bar, where there will be Albany Buns, Enterprise sausages and Tinkies with Oros 300ml. In addition, there will be a Future Life food bar in the Teen Zone, as well as can’t-do-without carnival foods such as popcorn, candy floss, mini donuts and slush puppies.
