GrandWest will be the site of yet another grand scale music and dance event, Lente Super Sokkie, featuring popular Afrikaans artists on 30 September 2016. This spring inspired party is buoyed by the success of theSuper Sokkie which took place in January this year.
On the bill for Lente Super Sokkie are Kurt Darren, Heinz Winckler, Andriette and Die Cambells together with local radio DJs. The artists will perform toe tapping hits such as “Kaptein”, “Kaalvoet Sokkie”, “Sewe Oseana”, “20 Minute”, “Rooi Rok Bokkie”, “Dans op die Tafels” and “Lepelle”.
“We are thrilled to see the Grand Arena transformed for another Super Sokkie featuring top local performers. It promises to be loads of fun,” says GrandWest’s PR and Promotions Manager, Elouise Matthys.
The four hour Lente Super Sokkie will feature an expansive dance floor where revellers can let their hair down and dance along to hip swaying Afrikaans songs. Tickets cost R150 per person at Computicket. The doors open at 19h00 with the fun starting at 20h00.
