The fifth and final One Day International (ODI) between South Africa and the number-one ranked ODI-team in the world, Australia, will be hosted by PPC Newlands on the 12th October.
Australia is the defending Cricket World champions, but they will fly to Cape Town with the astute understanding that the iconic PPC Newlands has been a fortress for the Proteas. The hosts have only lost five encounters in 31 clashes at the ground since their reintroduction into the international fold in 1991/1992.
The die-hard support by a capacity crowd has been South Africa’s greatest ally, while some of the legendary South African players have been superb at the ground.
AB de Villiers has scored 481 runs at an average of 53.44. JP Duminy has struck 208 runs at an average of 34.60 and Dale Steyn has been prolific with the ball at the ground and the leader of the pack in test cricket on the hallowed turf of PPC Newlands.
The venue will open at 11h30 and the ODI will commence at 13h30.Tickets on the Grand Stand one for adults, pensioners and young attendants aged three to 18 will be R250, while the selling price for Grand Stand two will be R240 in all above-mentioned categories.

We want to encourage the Cape Town faithful and our legion of Western Cape fans to embrace the opportunity to witness two of the four semi-finalists at the 2015 Cricket World Cup in action.
Mitchell Starc was the player of the tournament at the Cricket World Cup in 2015.
South Africa boasts the presence of several global icons who have endeared themselves to an international audience – players like Amla, De Villiers, Imran Tahir, Steyn, Duminy, Kagiso Rabada and Quinton de Kock.
