The Park Inn by Radisson, Newlands, set at the foot of Table Mountain, is now open for bookings for year-end or corporate functions, offering a host of packages for groups in search of the perfect venue to bid farewell to2016 and share excitement for what the new year will bring.

The modern, sophisticated venue caters for intimate gatherings or large events and parties can choose between three creative, traditional South African menus each featuring a three-course buffet, complete with welcome drinks and wireless internet.

The Apprentice menu offers delicacies such as grilled line fish and chicken schnitzel rounded off with a mouthwatering pecan pie.

The Pleaser is an interactive menu where guests get to cook their own lamb burgers, tenderized steak or chicken breasts filled with garlic lemon marmalade. The menu ends on a sweet note with chocolate brownies and berry compote.The Workaholic, meanwhile, includes a build-your-salad station, with mains being a beef lasagna, Cape Malay chicken curry or battered fish with tartare sauce. For dessert guests can look forward to traditional malva pudding or chocolate mousse. Filter coffee and tea will be served as part of every package.

“Executive chef, Morné Botha, has curated three exquisite menus offering the best of what traditional South African cuisine has to offer. The creative menus, charming service and breath-taking views of the majestic Table Mountain will ensure that guests celebrate the end of the year in style,” says Clinton Thom, General Manager at the Park Inn by Radisson.

Bookings run until 15 Dec 2016 and prices range between R400-R500 with flexible menu options available. Full pre-payment upon booking and a minimum of 20 guests per booking is required.
