Avon Justine iThemba Walkathon 2015

e.tv has teamed up with the annual Avon Justine iThemba Walkathon, the largest breast cancer awareness event in the country, which celebrates its 11th anniversary this year. The 2016 event takes place on Sunday, 23 October at Marks Park, Emmarentia in Johannesburg. With over 25 500 participants last year, this event has become the largest single-day event in the country held purely to generate awareness of breast cancer. Avon Justine plans to celebrate its 20th birthday by making the 2016 event, the biggest Walkathon yet; together with the help of media partners Woman & Home magazine, Kaya FM and e.tv Sunrise.

e.tv Sunrise is happy to be part of this great initiative for the second year running. We strive to educate our viewers about breast cancer, and the importance of early detection,” says Nicholas Maphopha – Executive Producer, Sunrise.
