Romance will reign at GrandWest during the month of love with a host of special experiences to be enjoyed in February 2017. The culinary teams at many of GrandWest’s restaurants have put together special menus which simply ooze romance, while there are also shows, live entertainment and movies for couples to enjoy together.

“From sumptuous dinners at our beautiful restaurants, to romantic movies and live entertainment, we have got Valentine’s covered,” says Elouise Matthys, PR and Promotions Manager at GrandWest.
Cape Town Fish Market will stage two promotions on Valentine’s Day. The first promises an exclusive and intimate experience on the restaurant’s upper level. Numbers will be limited to 30 couples who will be served by waiters wearing tuxedos and treated to live entertainment by Chris Rain. The cost for the mouthwatering, three course meal is R550 per couple. Downstairs, guests will enjoy a slightly less formal tapas and wine pairing experience for R200 per person.The Hussar Grill turns up the charm with a three course set menu featuring a choice of delicious dishes at each course. Devilled prawns, salmon carpaccio, seafood hot pot, succulent beef fillet, game espetada and coffee chocolate panna cotta are just some of the choices on the menu. Beijing Orchid will offer a burgeoning buffet of authentic Asian dishes to enjoy on Valentine’s Day. Tempura prawns, mussels, sweet and sour chicken, black pepper fish and calamari are amongst the choices. The cost per head is R199. Booking is essential on 021 535 3597.

The scene will be set for romance at Casa Bella with dimmed lights and tables lit by candles. Guests will receive a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, followed by an indulgent set menu. There is a choice of main meals such as rump steak, a hearty pasta or pizza. For dessert, guests can choose between Casa Bella’s signature fudge Picasso dessert and chocolate fondant with ice cream. Couples can round off their Valentine’s date with a latest movie at Nu Metro. Amongst the latest offerings at Nu Metro at GrandWest is 50 Shades of Darker.
