Cape Town, 29 March 2017 — The finalists have been chosen and the date has been set for this year’s Grand Finale of the annual V&A Waterfront High School Band Slam!
Taking place at the V&A Amphitheatre this Friday, 31 March from 6 to 8pm, the final four schools will slam it out to take home the coveted grand prize of R 20 000 in musical equipment from Mars Music. The finalist schools, SACS, Elsies River High, Wynberg Girls High and Bergvliet High are sure to put on their best performances yet in the hopes of being named the winning band.
Held in partnership with Kfm and Mars Music, this year’s High School Band Slam will include an additional R 5 000 spirit award for the school with the best crowd participation.
