This concert brings tribute to some of South African classical music’s greatest

talents. Each one, from instrumentalists to opera singers, is a gifted musician who

has contributed greatly to the music and performances we see on our opera stages

today. The programme includes excerpts from piano concertos and violin concertos,

as well as arias and duets from popular operas – all accompanied by a full orchestra.

The concert – which takes place in the Artscape Opera House – will feature contemporary well-known talent, such as the teenage pianists Qden Blaauw and Leo Gevisser, violinist Paul Loeb van Zuilenberg, as well as soprano Beverley Chiat and baritone George Stevens.
