Three of South Africa’s best known R&B performers, Loyiso Bala, Danny K and Lloyd Cele, are in the mix for the much anticipated Divos Cape Town 2017 show at GrandWest on 23 September 2017. Award winning Garth Taylor also takes to the stage, performing some of his classic soul favourites as well as some new and exciting material.
In true Divos style, the musical showcase brings together the talents of established artists and emerging performers to deliver an electrifying show which will appeal to diverse music tastes. Divos Cape Town 2017 introduces emerging R&B act, Supreme 3, as well as all new R&B and soul super group, SoulCut 3.
SoulCut 3 comprises multitalented Nur Abrahams, Fagrie Isaacs of boy band, The Boyz, fame and Ty Platinum who was the lead singer of Cape Town R&B band, Blackcurrant.
Arguably one of the country’s best saxophonists, Donveno Prins, steps into the limelight as he launches his solo career at Divos Cape Town 2017, while Mujahid George enthrals the audience with his sultry voice and dynamic stage presence. The artists will be supported by Camillo Lombard and his band.
