Johannesburg, 14th September 2017 – Bonang ‘Queen B’ Matheba has re-launched the new and improved version of her book ‘Bonang: From A to B’.
The re-launch took place in an intimate affair held at the newest and go-to place, Mall of Africa, in Midrand on Thursday, 14 September.
Fans, friends and supporters gathered to listen to the Queen as she poured her heart out about the experience of the recalling of her book early last month.
“As daunting as the process was, it taught me that sometimes things do fall through the cracks, and I felt it was a lesson that could not only be learned by me, but also by those that are to come after me. I truly am grateful to my fans for the love and continued support that they have shown me through it all – and continue to be by my side,” said Bonang Matheba.
Matheba spent the evening showering her fans and friends with love and signing copies of her revamped book. She reassured guests in attendance that the new edition of ‘Bonang: From A to B’ is nothing short of amazing, with some new addition of facts, informative chapters and advice that will change the way people look at life, especially those that look up to her.Author and Publisher, Thabiso Mahlape, has since taken responsibility for what happened with the first edition of the book. “I take full responsibility for what happened. The last thing that I want is for black people to be accused of mediocrity and I should do better. It’s on me as a publisher – I ought to have done better. We learn as we go, and, we must also acknowledge that it is human to error,” said Mahlape.
Matheba was recently announced as the official ambassador for one of S.A’s leading cellular network, Cell C and has launched an exciting app ‘Bonang by Cell C’ providing subscribers with access to her life behind- the –scenes. Her reality TV show, ‘Being Bonang’ which airs on Vuzu AMP on Fridays at 19:30 has also enjoyed great reception from viewers and fans.
The book is back on shelves and now available at Exclusive Books, Bargain books, Arc and Takealot. There are plans to go on tour in various cities in and outside of South Africa.
