The Afrikaans Taal Monument, will be bathed in different colors on the weekend of 23 and 24 September as part of the One World Festival of Healing.
The colors will reflect the diverse contributions to the Afrikaans language. The monument itself reflects, all such contributions and the initiative will seek to broaden an understanding of such diversity.
