“Football is a beautiful game enjoyed by many in our country and we are excited to create the “We Are Football” festival. They will share their expert advice to participating teams and will also be judges for the different activations during the day.
Lee-Roy Newton, group MD of Newton Sports Agency, knows that football is part of the fabric of South African culture and says of the festival “South Africa has such passionate football fans and has produced many legends of the game. We are proud to be a part of an event that showcases the best of who we are as a nation and give people an opportunity to live out their love of the game”.
DJ Tira of Afrotainment and T-Bo Touch are amongst entertainers who will not only be the DJs but are also bringing teams to compete in the 6-a-side tournament, and are encouraging other entertainers, social and corporate teams and stokvels to do the same.
